한미특수교육센터(KASEC)에서 리저널 센터 서비스를 더욱 효과적으로 활용하고 싶은 한인 발달장애인 가정을 위한 2번째 무료 온라인 워크숍을 개최합니다.

KASEC FATE Project의 2번째 워크숍에서는 리저널 센터에 대한 전반적인 이해를 바탕으로 효과적인 서비스 요청 전략과 자기옹호 방법을 알아봅니다. 또한, 가족들이 더 나은 발달장애 서비스 체계를 만들어 가는 데 어떻게 참여할 수 있는지도 함께 살펴볼 예정입니다.

강의는 SERAC(Special Education Research, Advocacy & Consulting)의 설립자이자 특수교육 컨설턴트인 이현수 박사님께서 진행합니다.

Hello,

As the second topic in KASEC’s DDS-funded Project FATE workshop series, we invite families, caregivers, and professionals to join our free, two-part online workshops on Regional Center services. The workshops will be presented in Korean with English captioning.

Participants will be provide with an overview of regional centers, effective strategies for requesting services, and practical self-advocacy tips. Participants will also learn how to help shape a stronger and more responsive developmental disability service system.

The series will be led by Hyon Soo Lee, Ph.D., Founder and Special Education Consultant at Special Education Research, Advocacy & Consulting (SERAC).
