KASEC is a non-profit organization (501(C)(3)) that was founded in 2000 by specialists in the special education and mental health field.  It is the first Korean American resource center in the U.S. with comprehensive services geared towards the Korean American community with disabilities and their family members. We provide educational and therapy services to individuals with special needs or mental health issues, and their family members.

KASEC hopes to bridge the gap for the Korean immigrant community who may face language and cultural barrier issues while accessing help and services they need for mental health and other disabilities. We also strive to promote an accurate understanding of developmental disabilities and mental health while removing the stigma attached to seeking help for these concerns.
