Hello,

Founded in 2000, our center is the first nonprofit created by special-education teachers and disability specialists to provide dedicated programs and services for Korean American families with developmental disabilities. For more than two decades, we have designed and offered a wide range of educational and therapeutic programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Recognized by the State of California as well as county and city governments, these programs are celebrated as effective, high-quality services open to everyone—welcoming participants of all backgrounds, not only the Korean community.

We are also committed to sharing accurate information about developmental disabilities and raising awareness of the importance of early detection and intervention. It is our great joy to have built a system that now allows us to support Korean Americans with developmental disabilities and their families not only throughout California but across the United States.

As the number of individuals with developmental disabilities—including autism—continues to rise, our team of specialists provides support across the entire lifespan, from infancy through adulthood, addressing the most urgent and essential needs every step of the way.

Our mission is to create a world where people with and without disabilities live side by side as equals. To make this vision real, we work to discover the interests and talents of individuals with developmental disabilities early on, helping them pursue their dreams within the community and live happy, meaningful lives well into adulthood. This vision can only be achieved together. Our society is moving beyond mere awareness toward true acceptance—but building an inclusive community requires the active partnership of individuals, businesses, and organizations alike.

We believe that when individuals with disabilities, their families, and our society come together to reflect, share, and take action, we can build a better world for all.
