한미특수교육센터 6월 Newsletter에 오신 것을 환영합니다️ 올해의 반환점을 향해 가는 6월입니다. 하루하루 뜨거워지는 햇볕이 코앞으로 다가온 여름을 실감하게 만들죠? 곳곳에서 희망적인 소식들이 퍼져나가면서 평범한 일상을 누리게 될 기대감이 생깁니다. 여름맞이는 쿨하게🧊, 안전과 건강은 계속해서 지키세요🦺!     We are already half way through this year! The sizzling sun is welcoming summer in every corner of our community. As we are hearing some positive news in the air, let us do our parts to bring our lives back to its normalcy! KASEC의 뉴 스탭으로 함께 하게 된 Dr. Yun을 소개합니다! 5월부터 한미특수교육센터에 승선하신 윤여광(James Yun) 박사님은 아동심리학박사로서 심리상담가이자 부모교육 전문가이고, 음악치료사와 ABA치료사이기도 합니다. 앞으로 센터의 프로그램 디렉터로서 깊이있는 상담서비스와 함께 더 좋은 발달장애인 프로그램을 만들어가기 위해 일하실 예정이며, 사실 이미 시작했답니다. 기대하셔도 됩니다! New staff on board! We proudly present… Dr. Yeo Kwang Yun (James) Dr. Yun is a Child Psychologist who has a background in Music Therapy and ABA. He is also an experienced counselor, parenting expert, and therapist. He will be serving a Program Director role at KASEC to improve our programs to better meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. We are thrilled to have him on board! KASEC과 함께 일하게 되어 너무 기쁩니다. 부모님들과 자녀들이 KASEC의 다양한 프로그램을 통해 함께 성장해 나갈 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠습니다.  I am both honored and thrilled to be working with KASEC. Shoutout to all who graduated or graduating this year! It was definitely a tough year and a half, but you persisted through. We are extremely proud of KASEC’s students and volunteers and we wish each one of you the best endeavors! 2021 Dream Art Contest-Closed for submission   미술대회 마감일인 지난 5월 26일, 미 전역에서 총 65개의 멋진 작품들이 제출되었습니다. 6월 한달간 드림아트 컨테스트 심사위원회에서는 공정한 평가시스템으로 모든 출품작들을 심사할 것입니다. 최종 선정된 12 작품은 7월 첫주에 뉴스레터와 소셜미디어를 통해 발표됩니다. 기대해 주세요! As of May 26, we have received a total of 65 beautiful artworks from all over the States. Throughout June, submitted art pieces will go through a fair scoring system by Dream Art Contest Committee members. The final 12 winners will be announced in the first week of July through newsletter and KASEC’s social media; so, stay tuned! KASEC’s Facebook Harmonia Summer Virtual Concert! 하모니아 앙상블의 여름 온라인 콘서트가 6월 30일 7pm에 열립니다! 지난 한 학기 동안 모든 하모니아 멤버들은 온라인으로 연습과 미팅을 이어가며, 음악적 기량도 쌓고 함께 어울리는 사귐의 시간도 가졌습니다. 온라인 콘서트에 대한 자세한 내용은 6월 중순에 이메일을 통해 안내해 드립니다 Harmonia Ensemble’s Summer Virtual Concert is coming up on June 30th @ 7pm! Throughout the spring semester, all our Harmonia members practiced and met up virtually to learn about the music they are playing, build relationship, and play games together.
