On April 20, KASEC was invited to meet with Kyung Jae Park, the Consul General of Korea in Los Angeles. Some of KASEC’s staff and board members joined this honorable meeting to share the challenges Korean Americans with disabilities have and the positive outlooks and opportunity we can create collaboratively.
To celebrate and raise awareness for Autism Awareness Month (April), we invited Aiden and Connor’s family to paint a set of wings and it was finally finished! Thank you for all those who came to paint this beautiful and iconic wings. Praying that the day will come soon where KASEC family can take pictures in front of these wings!
Thank you for those who participated in the Post COVID parent survey. We were able to gather important information about the new needs of the families with children with developmental disabilities. KASEC will continue to serve and support our community by providing resources and programs, and fostering an inclusive society by raising awareness!
