- Established KASEC Knights, first Korean American unified basketball team
- Facilitated first unified basketball tournament within Korean American community

- First Korean American organization to receive a grant from CA Department of Developmental Services. Facilitated Free Early Developmental Screening and Developmental Disability ABC Seminar in OC and LA (400 screened)
- KASEC requested Orange County to proclaim April 02 as ‘Autism Awareness Day’ and they made a County-wide declaration
- Hosted KASEC Art Contest for individuals with developmental disabilities

- Hosted 1st ‘Autism Awareness Day’ Charity Golf Tournament
- Started ‘I’m Here Project” Developmental Disability Family Trip project (San Diego)

- 1st Korean American Unified Sports program with students with/without disabilities started (unified music and dance program began as well)
