코로나바이러스로 인한 프로그램 임시 중단 안내

한미특수교육센터에서는 코로나바이러스 감염 예방을 위한 지역사회와 정부의 권고를 면밀히 주시해왔습니다. 현재 우리 프로그램과 관련해서 발생한 감염 케이스는 없으나, 센터에서는 정부의 권고 및 예방적 차원에서 3월 16일 이후 잠정적으로 2주간 모든 프로그램 진행을 유보하기로 결정하였습니다.

프로그램을 중단하게 되어 매우 유감스럽지만 우리 학생들과 봉사자 및 가족들의 안전과 건강을 지키는 것이 가장 우선시되어야 한다는 판단입니다. 계속해서 CDC(미국질병예방통제센터)와 각 교육구, 정부당국으로부터의 추가정보를 모니터할 예정이며, 그에 따른 향후 프로그램 스케줄을 3월 27일 이전까지 안내해 드리겠습니다.

KASEC has been closely monitoring and taking preventative measures against coronavirus (COVID-19) in accordance with the community’s and the government’s advice. While there are no cases of COVID-19 related to our programs, as a preventative measure and with recommendations of the government, we will temporarily suspend all programs for two weeks, effective Monday, 16th.

It is not our desire to put a pause in our programs, but we prioritize taking careful steps to best ensure the safety and health of all our participating students and volunteers, and their families. We will continue to watch for any updates from CDC (Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention), school districts and both local and national governments. In accordance with their advice, we will send out our program schedule updates towards March 27th.
