코로나바이러스(COVID-19) 에 관한 안내

안녕하세요, 한미특수교육센터입니다.

이미 아시다시피 현재 코로나바이러스 감염사태가 전세계적으로 확산되는 추세이고 미국 여러 지역에서도 감염 확산의 우려가 현실화되고 있습니다. 저희 센터에서도 여러 학생들이 모이는 프로그램을 진행하는 데 있어서 위험을 방지하기 위하여 사태를 면밀히 모니터하고 있습니다. 현재까지 결정된 방침과 몇가지 협조사항을 말씀드립니다.

1. 오렌지카운티 보건당국( OC Health Care Agency) ¹ 의 현재 방침에 준하여, 센터 프로그램은 예정대로 진행됩니다. 그러나 추후에라도 감염의 위험성이 심각해질 경우에는 즉각 휴강 등의 조치를 취할 수 있음을 알려드립니다. 
2. 모든 프로그램에서는 hand sanitizer/disinfecting wipes를 구비하고 수업 중 사용되는 도구와 주변환경의 위생 및 소독 등에 각별히 신경을 쓰고 있습니다. 부모님들께서도 자녀에게 손씻기와 개인위생 등에 대해 지속적으로 교육해 주시기 바랍니다.

3. 자녀가 기침, 발열 등 호흡기 증상을 보일 경우 프로그램에 출석시키지 마시고 집에서 쉴 수 있게 해주십시오. 각 프로그램 담당자들 역시 아픈 학생들은 즉각 집으로 돌려보낼 방침입니다. 타인들에게 피해가 되지 않도록 꼭 협조해 주시기 바랍니다.

이전에 없던 새로운 전염병에 대해 완벽한 판단과 대처를 하기란 쉽지 않은 것이 사실입니다.  현재로서는 어떤 확실한 예측도 어렵기에, 각자의 안전과 건강을 위해 책임있는 선택을 해야하는 시기입니다.

저희 센터에서는 모든 학생과 봉사자들의 안전을 우선하여 최선의 조치를 하고자 노력할 것입니다. 아울러 센터의 방침과는 별개로 각 가정의 판단에 따라 다른 결정을 내릴 수도 있으리라 생각됩니다. 많은 불안과 어려움이 있지만 모쪼록 이 시기를 잘 이겨나갈 수 있기를 바라며, 이 사안과 관련하여 궁금한 점이나 의논하실 부분이 있으면 언제든 센터로 연락주시기 바랍니다. ———————————

Greetings from KASEC, As you may have heard, the outbreak of Coronavirus is spreading around the world, and there are concerns about it in many parts of the States. Our center also closely monitors the situation in order to avoid any risks within our programs. Here are some of the updates from KASEC in regards to the Coronavirus: 1. With OC Health Care Agency’s¹ advice, we are proceeding with the programs as scheduled. However, if there is a serious risk of infection, we will take adequate measures immediately. 2. All programs will be equipped with hand sanitizers and/or disinfecting wipes and we will pay special attention to the hygiene and disinfection of the tools used in the programs and the surrounding environment. Parents should continue to educate their children about washing hands and keeping personal hygiene. 3. If your child shows any symptoms such as cough or fever, please first notify us, do not attend the program, and allow them to rest at home. Each program staff will also send sick students home immediately. Please cooperate, so we can prevent sickness, if any, from spreading. It is difficult to make perfect discernment and cope with new conditions that have never existed before. At this time, it is challenging to make any solid predictions; thereof, please try to make responsible choices to keep the safety of your own and others’ around you. KASEC will endeavor to do our best to prioritize the safety of all students and volunteers. In addition, apart from the Center’s policy, we believe that different decisions may be made at the discretion of each household.
